GET THE BEST MOST EXCITING SEAT, BECOME A RACE EVENT VOLUNTEER
Westwood Karting Association was established in 1961 and is a registered
non-profit society. WKA is run entirely by volunteers and launched their new
track at the Misson Raceway Park this year. We are dedicated to running fun
competitive racing in a positive family environment.
If you have an interest in racing, here is your chance. WKA is seeking
volunteers to assist in all aspects of club activities including race events. As
a volunteer race official, you will be directly involved with the success of
each event and be closer to the action than anyone else, receiving free entry
and lunch. Witness Westwood Karting’s up and coming Racers racing at speeds
reaching in excess of 140 KPH come screaming into a corner, jockey for position
on the backstretch, or go two wide through the chicane. This type of action can
only take place if we have a crew of responsible, enthusiastic personnel to
overview the race. If you want to be involved and learn the basics of racing,
the WKA is currently taking names and numbers from all interested people.
Training for all respective positions is available through the club. Everybody
becomes part of the team.
